First of, a confession; I'm a Powell and Pressburger nut! Already owning this in standard DVD format - a print that was perfectly fine - I took the plunge and asked for this on Blu-ray as a birthday present, havingwatched an on-line preview of the restoration process. I sat down to watch it and was frankly blown away; I had expected to see some level of improvement, but the depth of clarity and colour that I was experiencing took my appreciation of this film to a whole new level. The extras are ok but skimpy and a tad thin, but this is more than made up for by the quality of the print. I'm normally a regular size 7, with a very high instep and very wide feet - Birkenstocks are the only thing I can wear in the summer, you can forget about anything pointy, dainty or trendy - and so after reading the reviews here I ordered a navy pair in a size 6. And tah-daaa! It's like they had been made bespoke, they are super comfy everywhere (ie all around the foot) and look really great on. Great for the smart casual look and fit fine. I do have a slight issue with mine though. Not sure if it's a defect but the tongue on the right shoe folds over on one edge from very low down and becomes very uncomfortable. It may just be that it folded once and I didn't notice it and now there is a kink which means it folds every time I wear them. It's a shame because I do really like them. May just buy another pair.
Had seen the shoe www.otlive.co.uk a brilliant score, it is worth considering if your looking for some change and moody atmospheric music.
Titanic. Nope, I don't have the wrong movie, but the same guy that did that, did this. In my view, this recording is just as good, just not as sad(its not supposed to be.) This album makes you think and ties you into the complicated movie play very well.This is a SCORE not a SOUNDTRACK. You will not hear any of the songs that are in the movie on this album, just the clever and cool, background music.
Purchased this as recommended by REL for positioning their subwoofers. Turns out the entire film score is very good. Wonderful sound and dynamics to boo jack wills outlet these shoes as many of Merrell's other barefoot shoes comes in a half size smaller than regular shoes in my experience, so if you're a size 8.5(like me) you might want to order size 9.
I am a standard size 8 but my experiance with Merrell is that they come up small so I ordered a size 9 and it fits perfectly. If you have not worn barefoot shoes before take things easy and slowly increase wear time as your mussels need to get used to walking or running barefoot, in my case only walking. This is a very comfortable shoe with the right amount of padding for walking all day, some barefoot runners might not like the amount cushioning in the footbed. I have a wide foot and they are wide enough to allow natural foot spread no cramping or pinching.
